Cav arms receivers are NOT CMP/NRA service rifle legal so if you ever want to get into competition you'll be throwing it away and buying a real receiver.

I was disappointed with the performance/reliability of some "rifles" built up on Cav Arms receivers that showed up at a competition here a few years ago.
