In cold temps, I run my AR-15 with dry graphite or dry teflon lube.
In the long run, I think that the teflon is prob the better choice. All in all, it is toss of the coin. I have used both and they have never let me down. Both come in what I call "poof" bottles. Disassemble all parts, clean them "bone dry" and give all parts a "poof" of dry lube.
