Where did are society go wrong. All the garbage that kids and some adults wear to represent themselves in society is beyond ridiculus.

I remember when people gave a darn about what they represented and how they looked in public. Apparently they don't care any more. Some of my pet peaves are:

Men with earings; I understand why divers, sailors, and gay men wear them, but all the others should give it up. It used to be that if you wore an earing in your right ear you were a professional diver or sailor and if you wore it in your left ear you were a gay man. Now I ask, What are men who wear an earing in each ear?Gay sailors, men waiting for the "final solution" to being a man operation, or men who just want to feel pretty or they just cannot make up their mind about what gender they want to attract. Maybe I'm just too old and just don't understand the self -mutilation and feminization of men. Maybe I should ask Oprah? Well, forget that idea.

Women who show their underwear and more and have mulltiple tattoos and piercings. I recently returned to school and couldn't beleive how young girls dressed in public, now. I almost hurt myself laughing while watching the TV show COPS, when they were picking up prostitutes. They actually dressed like the girls I went to school with and some even dressed more modestly. We no longer have to worry about men debasing women and treating them like objects, the young ones have learned to debase themselves and apparently are proud of it.

I could go on and on about what people do and how they act. Miss Wilbanks mode of dress in court is just another sign of the times we live in now.I know that time and cultures change, but when does it start changing for the better in USA.
