That bit of additional weight will play in your favor, Del, especially if you plan to launch those 3.5" shells from it! It can sure help with that follow through too. I would have to say, of my two critical points of the gun, the handle size and shape was my biggest dislike and that is predicated on the size of my hands more than anything.
