			I saw one one a 12 guage shotgun two deer seasons ago that was as big as a beer can and really did like the light gathering and quick target aquisition. I think it was 56 mm but i can't remember the manufactor and 2x also.  
		
		
		
		
		
		
			That guy's got some money so i bet it was not cheap. I saw a cheap Barska 50mm red dot for about 40 dollars and though it might replace the banged up 2x simmons i have have on my ruger Mark II. You want something more reliable than that on a 44 mag. Might look at holosight system for it like the EOTECH. The're more like a mil spec version of the holosight and i think they might handle the recoil as i have seen them one several auto 45's with the slide recoil without problems.

	I don't know but I've been told it's hard to swim with the weight of gold. On the other hand I have heard it said it's just as hard with the weight of lead.  |
