I don`t recomand shooting an opposum in the head to kill them. Their brain is smaller than the last joint on your little fingure and is incased in bone. I shot very few animals that were in traps anyway. I used to use a 1/4 steel rod and 1 blow acrossed the top of the head would due any thing in. You just have to learn how hard to hit each to kill them and not do to much damage to the skulls.
