Hey Guys my name is Benny and about 6 months ago I wanted a pistol to hunt with the rest of my hunting days to put a little exciment back in the hunt. I read a lot on the 7-30 Waters and read Rocky's reloading article on this gun. I purchased a super 16 and an older frame and ordered all the federal ammo one company had. Only 6 boxes for the brass and to zero my scope in. At a hundred yds this thing is about as accruate as my trusty 7mm Rem Mag. Set of bipods and no sand bags 5 shot groups stay under 1.5 inches with very few flyers. Now I'm ready to reload and I like the 139 Gr.interbond myself but after hearing Rocky's reply I may stick with the 120 vmax. I already have some winchester 748 that kept coming up in all my books rather often and was wondering if this powder is not as good as 4895 which was second best. If anyone has some insight please let me know and I will do likewise with the 748. I got it and may as well try it. thanks so much.
