I am up in the extreme Northeastern Corner of South Dakota (Roberts County). I have seen lots of Pheasants up here this year. We had a fairly wet spring, but then it got really dry until about the 1st of August. Since the first of August we have had above normal rainfall.
While I haven't talked to the local Conservation Officer about his brood counts from what I see when I am out in the country I see lots of birds. I am looking forward to getting out and getting a few Birds come October. Larry
