The best factory load for the .44 mag rifle, in my humble opinion, is the Speer 270 grain Gold Dot SP. I used the factory load for years, before I started hand loading with the same bullet.
I have killed 7 bucks, a number of does, and a bunch of hogs. Kills 'em dead. On the spot. Very accurate, with groups under two inches at 100 yards in my Marlin 1894S.
