I had an Aetec 4-12x , never a problem, and a White Tail Classic 3.5-10x 40mm, no problem. The only thing that ever went wrong with a Simmons ProHunter I had (an old pre China model) was I droped it. Instead of repairing it, they replaced it with a Chinese model, that worked good, but I just felt wrong having it, so I gave it to a German friend for his .22LR.
Which is why I wonder why mnken doesn't like his son's. FYI the Meade rep at the IWA told me ( the gun show in Nuernberg) REDFIELDS will be built by contract, and can't find anyone who will make them to tolerances
