This is like any thing else. To each their own, but Polaris is one of the easiest I know of to work on and the ride is alot better than most. If you are going to be spending alot of time riding it you want something that is going to be a pleasure to ride. That's why I picked Polaris. The new Can Am is suppose to be really nice to ride also, although I've never been on one and don't know much about them other than they used to be Bombardier. I also agree with the 500cc part. Mine's a 400 and it will do anything that I want done.
