Illinois Controlled Pheasant Hunts

For the past twenty years I have enjoyed the Illinois state "Controlled Pheasant Hunt" program wherein they stock pheasants in some state parks and then charge a $15 daily fee for hunting during November and December.

The state is now undergoing financial/budget problems, and the govenor is planning to end this program.
