Hey Dan,
I haven't been up there since last fall but I think it's about the same as it is all over Colorado - pretty bad. I'll watch for "red pines" when I make camp. Actually, as bad as it's been, it seems like the bark beetle devastation isn't as bad as predicted but maybe it still has to run its course...

I love the quaking aspens in the fall! Bright yellow-gold and orange against the dark timber. Moderate temps, smells of fall in the air... and elk. Does it get any better?
