Mr. 16 gauge,
It seems you are on the edge of the .615" 20 gauge, if you are using plastic wads. I use wonder wads for my .50 smoothbore flinter, 75 grains of 2F Goex and a same measure of shot under a top wad. I have not gotten a turkey yet with #7.5 shot, but then again this is a new year. Adam
