when i got my winchester model 88 it was cut down for a kid i happened to be walking around at a gun show when i looked down and there was one for 95 bucks.
My freinds like to tease me and say i fell in a bucket becouse i got a deal on the 88 becouse of the stock and i know i could not have got a stock for 95.bucks the cheapest i found 150. The sad part was the stock that was cut was a real early one with cut checkering the one i bought was later with the press.
