The only gun I ever had to send back was a Ruger #1A in 7x57 Mauser. It had one of those crappy Wilson barrels and had throat two inches long.
 My gunsmith did a chamber cast to find this out so I called Ruger and they said to send it in. It took them seven months to get it back to me. At least the gun was accurate when I finally got it back. Paul B.
