I agree with what everyone has told you.
Had a Glock 23 once. You may want to shoot a Springfield XD-M if one is available. Their grip angle appears to be almost identical to a 1911 and it has a grip safety which the Glunck does not have. I've got the older XD-45. 13 +1 in a 45acp is nice. The recoil pulse is a bit more of a throw than my 1911 govt though.
