Sooo, WHAT did you pay for the H&R? I paid $500 for my last one and guess I have enough Garands on the heap. I just got another ABL M49 8x57MM. For an encore I got a Hakim for $175 with VG stock and mint bore. The seller of both arms tossed in a .30 caliber can of NC 8mm Ball that was Boxer primed. It pays to read the "Penny Saver" weekly paper. Adam
