To your question....
I think you're getting into pretty close constraints regardless of the shot size. I have hunted with about that much separation between blinds before and have been showered upon. Nothing bad mind you, it's all part of hunting ducks and expected to some degree but I would suspect that might not be the case in your situation. Steel pellets on the roadway might be a bad thing.

Now, leave the zoo ducks to the consumption of Wonder Bread and go to the outskirts of town!
