I own a Mathews SQ2. I sell Bears and Parkers along w/ others on the weekends at a sporting goods stores. I love my Mathews, however if your thinking about a new bow I'd take a good hard look at the Parkers. They've got one of the best warranties in the business if you ever have a problem, and they have a great variety of bows to choose from. One thing you didn't mention is whether your price includes new accessories as well as a new bow. This'll play a big part in your final price. Anyways, whenever I have someone who wants to buy a bow I sell it to them from the grip on out. A bow that feels comfortable in the hands will be alot easier to shoot in the long run irregardless of how fast or anything else it is. Dont get hung up on speed. It's not everything. Vibration, noise, and weight are the more important aspects IMO. All of the bows made today are plenty fast to kill a deer.
