so here is how today went. his wife found out that he planned on going hunting in the snow and he gots talked out of it, so i set off by my lonesome. it was one of those days goose hunters will take happily, the ground for being in the teens, was just a little hard on the top making for easy sticking of dekes, wind and blizzard on and off, around 9 the geese started working real hard, i just had to tone down to little feeding talk from honks and they started piling in all around. well, being that i needed another goose like a hole in the head, i decided just to watch, i checked every bird for neck and leg bands as they land 8 foot away until about 100 had landed and left, then a single came all by hiself 5 foot up and at 20 yds, when i flipped the lids he didnt flare just kept coming, so at 5 yds i put it on his chin, well it wasnt pretty. snow geese everywhere, none would come down
