PJ, I never heard anything about Gonzales from the NRA. Nothing at all. I'm not saying that I'm doubting Gun Owners of America, I just think it's odd I didn't hear anything, if they did - I missed it.

The NRA, while the largest, strongest and most widely known firearms group, has not been standing up for our shooting & hunting rights. Too many times they have sacrificed one segment of our community in order to move another part of their agenda forward. Often they have pitted one segment against another. You only need to look to the Shotgunner vs. "Evil Black Rifle"(Ar-15) crowds to see what I'm talking about.

Their lack of support, Overly P.C. policies, often to the point of bad mouthing by local/national NRA representatives, has cost this community dearly. (The lack of information provided about Gonzales from the NRA is a GREAT example!)

We are ALL in this together!

Segmenting ourselves in to smaller, self serving sub-groups only helps the Anti-gunners succeed that much easier.
