scope

Before spending money on the fixed power scout scope
maybe try one of those scopes made for shotguns. I have a nikon
shotgun scope on my browning semi auto which uses the same type of base as the taurus where it mounts by the rear sight dovetail. The eye relief is fine as I believe it was designed for cantilever mounting on shotguns. Not sure of the distance on the taurus so it may not work for you, but maybe worth a try. Also the parallax is set for 75 yards which is pretty good for a .22. Hope it helps.
