So you got an X-II and not the X-III?

It's a good scope, had one on my .223 but my only complaint was eye relief. That X-II 6-18 is very critical on eye relief compared to most other Leupolds especially when you're using it in the prone position. Other than that I watched a lot of squirrels EXPLODE through that scope before I replaced it with the X-III 4.5-14LR.
