I don't remember what the percentage is, but I would guess about 40 per cent of the state is public domain. Get yourself a current BLM land map and you're in business. I'm not sure where area "M" is, because I don't get a non-resident booklet,but just about anywhere in the northern and western part of the state there is public land somewhere that is good for hunting.
