You wouldn't see both Hillary and Rice running at the same time. Grant you they are both qualified (whether you like them or not) for the position.
I agree in part with Billy. I don't think the blacks will vote for Rice. Furthermore, Rice does have that personality that is not likeably - or at least gives some people the creeps. Putting the two side by side, Hillary would stand a better chance at winning. I'm not up on the Republican party. I don't know of their "silent" leaders (if you will) that will emerge into presidential candidates. I will say the election is over if McCain runs. I don't see any new faces in the democratic party in 08. I think it's between Clinton, Kerry, and Edwards. Of these three - I think I put them in the order of their best chances of winning the general election should either decide to run in the primaries. I suspect Clinton will be on the ballot either as presidental candidate or vice. But Rice, no. I don't think we'll even see her. |
