You surely don't think that the cost of fuel has driven the cost of everything up as much as it has gone do you? You make a good point that rising fuel costs DO drive up the cost of a candy bar... but it does not make it triple. So what WOULD be ok? SHOULD gas prices stay at $1 forever even though people are making 3 times as much money? What's reasonable?

Don't get me wrong here either fellas. I think we SHOULD be stomping holes in the middle east. I also think we should be building nuke plants, and developing electric and hydrogen delivery systems so we can get off foreign oil, and tell them to shove their oil up their collective arses.

Our biggest battle, IMO is within this country. You're all right... the politicians have got to go. I am not advocating an armed revolution though. What we need to do, and CAN do is fire them all on election day. And we need to do it during the PRIMARIES. Many people will not vote against their party lines and I understand that. So... push the party to offer an alternative to the incumbent and fire him at primary time.

Who has written their senators and congressmen in the last month? Do it.

Ya'll have internet. Do a Google search on their name and you'll get a link to their official website and they all have means to e-mail them. DO it. Weekly. It only takes a second. Tell them what you want... and if they don't do it... FIRE them at the polls.
