this is going to be my go to knife for this season
http://buckknives.com/catalog/detail/215/222 i also pack the shrade fixed blade gut hook because its small aand handy. then theres a folding alpha hunter with gut hook that mey be in pack. feild dressed a few deer with this and it worked very well for me. ive got a few of the bigger alpha hunter knives that may not get packed. i like smaller knives like the mini alpha and the shrade. ohhhh my gerber gator will definatly be going. this knife has been with me on 5 mule deer. works great and the handle never slips ount of my hands even when coated in blood and melting snow.

In my pack i carry a Spyderco Moran DP fixed blade, Surefire C3, Inova X5 w/ Green LED's, and Sog Pocket Power Plier.
For EDC i have a Surefire E2D, Spyderco Native, Spyderco Navigator, Coast Tac Torch (LED light, coat pocket). The knives get switched out pretty often and in the next few days i'll have a Boker Subcom that was a gift from the designer CLB. J
