Sea Ducks
Hey Rubicon...Get some of the Wolf steel loads in # 4 or #3 just for shooting cripples. For the real shooting use the Kent or Federal stuff. Sea ducks take a bunch of killing and I would use (smallest) #1 anf back it up with BB size. Especially for the scoters. Scoters are down on the lower chesapeake right now..not in big numbers yet either Was out fishing at the mouth of Eastern Bay and saw a small group of Old Squaws(politically incorrect longtailed ducks
 ) Plenty of grease monkeys(Cormorants) but no diving ducks yet...another month for them. Personally I wouldn't waste hevi shot on sea ducks. You have to forgive Tree Doc...he doesn't have to shoot tough ducks or real geese...so he only has to use steel!! hehe
