I've had really good luck shooting 2 3/4" Winchester Xpert 2's when hunting mallards/Gadwalls in the marsh, and Bluebill/Redheads in the big blinds. Shooting a Briley LM choke. Good kills out to 35 or so yards. Any further is pushing it w/ that choke really. In my gun anyway.
