Me and the boy went out yesterday - and for being prit near 10 yrs old - He did dam good. Put up 5 cock birds and we got our limit of two. Hunted a couple of brush lots that two other guys had just been thru with their dogs they and told me I shouldn't bother - we just hunted thru there.
Needless to say - after the fith bird flew - I see them boys headed back our way.
My old boy still has good eyes, nose and ears - but after a good day of hunting - his ole joints will be hurting. Back at home - he gets a full belly and an asprin then its nappy time by the wood stove.
