Frankly I doubt that she is pointing on foliage scent. I'd almost bet that your dog is pointing old scent of some sort wheather it be song bird, rabbit or something else who knows, but I'd bet something had been there. The best cure that I know to break that is to get your dog into birds, birds and more birds. The more that you hunt the more comfortable your dog will be with what ever it is you are hunting. If your dog starts getting into birds and you start getting a few of them the more he or she will realize thats what you're after and will recognize the smell the next time and if you lavish her with praise every time you get into them she will eventually learn.
