Does anyone remember the story in Outdoor life ,(years ago)where in the late 1800's a deer hunter rowed out onto lake Erie from the U.S side in a row boat, after a wounded deer that swam out into the lake to advoid the hunters and dogs, due to a storm that swept across the lake by unsual luck he & his boat ended up on the Canada's side, after a few weeks he made it back home, he had been given up for dead and family had given him a memorial service ?
