I watched American Sportsman with a passion. Curt Gowdy's voice and face will always be remembered. The Voice of the Red Sox for many years and a terrific football announcer and NBC for years.
Mr Gowdy is an icon in Wyoming and has had a state park named after him over 20 years ago or more that I know of. I will probably get up there this fall and cast a flyline in his memory in the state he loved.
