9x18 For Ccw

As some has read my ccw gun is a bulg markerov and me and my cousin was talking about this past week end about the best load.
I have yoused hard ball as i have read it feeds better in semi auto hand guns he likes hollow points more for damge and he thinks they wont pass threw in a home invasion case.
I beleave it will pass threw anyway at the speeds they are going at close shooting.
I do not no wich rounds he is youseing to compair and i was wondering if any one has done jell testing or wet news papper testing to compair on this caliber .
