Getting closer with the custom mauser.

Looks great. Similar to gun that I have.
Shilen barrel also. Mine shoots great.
It's a 35 whelen with a fixed 4 power
on it. The great thing is the mauser
action. I did absolutely nothing to my
98 action except changing the fireing
pin and spring. It shoots great.
The guy that tapped it for scope mounts
said he could hardly drill the thing. Case
hardened steel is what makes these things so great after all these years.
