Yep, it was chilly to say the least Lilred! I dont know how chilly it got down in Lunenburg, but I know by 8:30 I was ready to walk back to the truck. We were working on the dog pens on Saturday so I had to get out of there a bit early. Sorry about your luck the other day. Sounds like you've got a nice hole there. Keep at em. I didn't do much on Saturday. Saw some turkeys first thing and then nothing. Had a deer blow at me as I was headed in. That afternoon I saw two does and had a buck grunt twice up the ridge from me. It was kind of late, and I was hoping he'd show himself, but it wasn't to be. Oh well. Buddy of mine shot a real nice buck up there in Madisonville day before yesterday. 17" to the inside and 9 points. Cant wait to see him!
