MG,
That is a great accomplishment.

Check out this program. http://www.coloradoyo.org/

It is a program which my daughter wanted to participate in (which made Dad extremely happy). It is a mentor style program where the kids can't participate without a adult mentor and is an on going, year to year, program. This is our first year in it. While I've spent most of my life doing the things that CYO is covering, having your child jump in for the participation of outdoor group activities is very rewarding. So far we've done fly fishing, spin fishing, hunters safety, the Elk bugle in Estes Park and trap shooting with big game calls on the docket after Thanksgiving. All of the events feature a local expert that speaks on the subject and instructs the participants. There has been no cost to the participants. CYO even sponsers a competitivve trap team. It's something that both my daughter and I look forward to.

I would recommend this type of program for every state.

Having fun with the kids outdoors can't be beat.
