Oh Yeah!

What Petey said! Never gave that a thought. It is imperative that you put the right side of the pellets down. Still, though 777 IS much cleaner than Black or Pyrodex it has a tendency to leave a crusty residue in the area of the "breech" end of the bbl. A kinda ring where the powder(pellets) are before firing. I did have that problem with all the 777 I used in 3 different guns. And Petey , you're right about that other American Pioneer crap. I tried 3 or 4 different types of "powder"...one of 'em was some kinda vitamin stuff. Anyhow..after it sat in the plastic bottle for about 4 months...it turned into a black bottle shaped lump of sticky goo.
BTW Petey...nice deer with a bow.

You can still add about 5 gr of 3F black down the bbl first...also..just thought of this..take a Flint gun pick and run it into the breech plug primer hole thingie after a couple of shots No problem on the bench..probably not in the field either
