I don't think you can predict which brand will be more accurate. Accuracy is a complicated combination of gun and load that has to be discovered for each rifle. There are no guarantees.

On the other hand, I bet (I'm making this up so if you know the truth, just tell me) that differences in the average level of accuracy from a year's worth of production from either Savage or Rem. would be irrelevant.

Although the actions are quite different, both have long histories of being absolutely reliable.

Everyone here is saying almost the same thing, really; we can't tell you which is better for you. There is nothing on which to base the call except a couple of personal preferences. Don't agonize. Just pick one and go shooting.
