That really sounds low. I shot more than 4000 rounds through a 25-06 I had at one time. Started to loose it's best accuracy at about 3700 but even after 4000 it would shoot in an inch and a quarter fairly consistently..if I zigged at the right time
 Oh and I really loaded that thing up there most of the time. I just didn't shoot a lot of rounds through it in a short period of time.
