22 people gunned down at Virginia Tech

If you believe in God, the gunman is in hell right now and prayers aren't going to do him any good. Save the prayers for the innocent dead people that might be waiting in pergatory if they didn't go straight to heaven. Why is it that there can never be somebody carrying concealed at the right place and time when these things happen. I'm willing to bet that there are plenty of altercations that are avoided by people carrying concealed, but it never seems to happen when these national events take place.

Does anybody know what type of firearm this guy was using? With the number of people he killed, I am really wondering about what type of gun it was. I just don't understand how this guy killed so many people and wounded so many more. Maybe there was only one way out of the room/building. I have no idea.

Lilred, I hear you about the little one. My daughter will be born in 2 days or less because if she isn't born before Wednesday morning they will be inducing my wife at 9:00 am on Wednesday. I'm using my prayers for that too right now. Like you, I wonder what the world will be like in 18 years when she will be going to college.
