When Blount bought Redfield/Simmons/Weaver, Simmons had the same style rings, but only for a while. In fact look in really old gun rags you might see them in an advert.
Then I wondered what happened to them..and whala....over to Weaver! But wouldn't they be very simular in performance with the regular Weaver Sure-Grip rings? It's all good...................................
