My 2006 bull didn't go to the taxidermist, his rack is nailed to the wall at my hunting shack.

This is the view that visitors get when they enter my office. This bull was taken in 2003 at a scene that looked just like the print that Petey has posted, the Tetons were in the background.

Anyway, he looks over my shoulder everyday at work. I wasn't going to do a shoulder mount on it since I have one in my house and there isn't room for another, but there was a young hunter in camp who offered to cape it in camp and mount it for $500. He was new to taxidermy and wanted to do an elk. He did the tanning himself and I got it back in about 5 months, but the quality is not the best, I'd give it a C-.

I have a mount at home from my first bull that was done by a taxidermist in Jackson Hole, the quality is superb and I'd recommend him highly. The crating & shipping cost was something I wasn't ready for, but it was worth it.
