I have about a half dozen of these that are staying around my house. I just assumed they were mourning doves, but did wonder about the size of them, because they are considerably bigger. I knew they weren't a pidgeon. Now I know. Thanks for the info Dan and Dom.
 By the way Dan, when does your dove season start? I think ours starts on the first. Guess I better be checking that out.
