They want to sterilize deer so that they don't breed. There are SO MANY THINGS wrong with that approach is hard to figure where to start. What do you think happens to genetics when the deer aren't competing? What do you think happens to the herd when there are no younguns... What do you think happens to the predators, the scavengers, the forest when the deer populations finally plummet?

There is an ecosystem involving the deer and the hunter. When you tamper with that ecosystem, very bad things will happen, and when you are talking about humane, what the ARA and HSUS are proposing is anything but humane for the deer.
