Goodolboy I've cold blued two .22 rimfires and a pellet gun using Brownells Oxpho blue (Liquid) and was very happy with the results.
All three had surface rust and minor dings. The most important item is surface prep and follow the instructions that come with the Oxpho Blue.
Before applying the blue I heated the barreled actions in the oven at 140* prior to applying. Can't stress enough the surface prep and having everything completly degreased. I used Brownells degreaser. I don't work for Brownells and I'm not associated with them in any manner, just passing along what worked good for me. MC
