I am fantasizing on finding a Mauser action tommorow at the show in OKC, but we will see. Gotta get my lazy butt out of bed first, and the Savage seems a good way to just get it done, and finally get a decent deer rifle.

A word for the wise. Keep your eyes peeled at the show for a Savage stock. Lots of people put tupperware stocks on their guns then sell the leftover stock beau coup cheapo.
