Ammunition Accountability Legislation. What is it supposed to do? In the one or two states with Mandatory Ballistic Profiling keeping a fired round from every firearm sold has YET to be helpful in solving the FIRST crime.

Today, I heard on the news the FBI reported a big reduction in firearms murders in the U.S. SO, why is there a NEED for Ammunition Accountability?

As an old (retired) federal agent, I can tell you gun registration NEVER solved any of my cases in 26 years of law enforcement. Hum, Let's see, MAYBE that was because bad guys do not register guns (or ammo). Therefore, WHO is this legislation aimed at?

When they come for your guns, give them the ammo first.
