More likely the 13 fires we have here in Utah, Dan.
California gets all the news coverage, of course. But we've had between 10 and 20 fires active constantly for weeks now. Dry lightning-caused, for the most part. The Forest Service decided to let one burn a while back, to clear out some invasive weeds. Then we got 70+ mph winds ahead of a front, and the thing exploded into prime rangeland. Our governor says the Forest Service can - and damned well better - pay for the loss and the firefighters, thank you very much.
